Representing water, this bubbly, wavy , flowing necklace hangs long…somewhere near the upper stomach area, in the solar plexus chakra. This chakra is an energy center relating to your ability to be confident and in control of your life.
Hand crafted in copper, the surface has been manipulated to form bubble shapes, with rivulets of silver wire, flowing tear drops, and moving pieces dangling from the bottom. The copper section is 1 1/2″ by 3″. A silver river of waves at the top contrasts with the coppery patina. Strung with a long strand of blue-green Czech seed beads with random accents. Hook and eye clasp is handmade in silver.
A colorful brass tab measuring 1/2″ by 2″ has applied waves of sterling silver , tooled markings, and a stained amber patina. Handmade hook and eye clasp. Strung with a 16″ strand of silver colored faceted beads and two accents of Red Jasper beads. One of a kind, and signed on back.
A sterling silver lilypad with a wire-wrapped teardrop dangle at the bottom, hangs from a 16″ strand of silver toned faceted beads and gun metal colored tube beads. The hook and eye clasp is hand made and a tiny charm is attached.
A 7/8″ sterling silver disc with a delicate hand cut sun with three hanging Porcupine quills. A sterling silver ball is attached at the top, with a 16″ oxidized cable chain. The quills were acquired from an unfortunate road-killed Porcupine, to whom I gave a respectable burial. May it rest in peace.
A small brass shield measuring 1″ in diameter, has a soft brown leather disc sandwiched between the backing and a 5/8″ sterling silver disc that has been decorated with hand stamped design representing the four directions. Above the shield is a sterling silver “balance” assembly soldered to the hand forged central stem.
This shield is strung with a 16″ strand of pale, chartreuse-colored glass seed beads, and accents of yellow and green Czech beads and is finished at the ends with a hand made hook and eye clasp that is easy to fasten behind the neck.
A brass 1/2″ by 2″ brass tab with sterling silver accents soldered onto the surface. One side of the “wand” decoration, and above the “crescent”, is a textured wave pattern that is toned with a rust colored stain.
The 16″ necklace is strung with silver toned disc beads, with two red trade bead accents. A hand forged sterling silver hook and eye clasp finishes the end.
